The story of the Michael J. Brody Jr., the hippie millionaire, finally made it to Hollywood, or, more correctly, a mélange of film festivals.

Austin, Texas-based film maker Keith Maitland, the director of the critically-acclaimed Tower, completed Dear Mr. Brody in 2020, right before Covid-19 shuttered the movie theaters and the world. Originally planned to have its world premiere at the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival, the documentary has instead schlepped from one on-line film festival to another. Despite its nomadic journey, the film has received stellar reviews and hopes to find wide-scaled distribution post Covid-19.
